PROVO, Utah -- In an effort to fight cancer and heart disease, the Utah County Health Department is offering free and low-cost screenings to women.
The Garden of Hope Women's Health Fair and Clinic is offering free breast exams and pap smears by appointment to women between the ages 40 to 64.
Other services that don't require an appointment include bone mass screening, vision screening, hearing check, skin cancer checks, body mass index checks, IMT scan of carotid artery, and information about how to sign up for health insurance.
The event takes place March 11 and 12 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Utah County Health and Justice building located at 151 South University Ave. in Provo.
