I still have a nagging cough that will not go away, and I can’t get in to see the doctor for a full physical until March. I guess I’ll just have to grit my teeth and wait it out.
Valentine’s Day was fun. It started off with the 14th Annual Cake Dive: 97 women, a giant cake and 1 diamond ring is three words: COM…E…DY. See the video here.
The weekend continued in Wendover, where I got to see Cheech & Chong perform. Those guys were hilarious in their older days. While I was out and about, many people took time to offer kind words and encouragement as I continue my battle to lose weight and live a healthy life.
I was able to check yet another item off my bucket list. For the first time I was able to experience iFly Utah, which offers indoor skydiving in a wind tunnel. It was a crazy, scary, and an exhilarating feeling to be wrapped in one accompanied by the feeling of weightlessness–even if it was for only a short time.
I am looking forward to amping up my training for my upcoming 5K in April. Thank you to Drs. Cottam and Richards, BMI Utah, and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center and all of the support from you all.
