PROVO, Utah -- A band in Provo is using music to help preserve the national parks.

The group is suitably called "The National Parks" so it seemed fitting to team up with the National Parks Conservation Association to promote the parks.

“We are inspired by lot of different things," Band Leader Brady Parks said. "We take inspiration from nature, and from love and from our faith and spirituality. It all combines in the song writing process."

The band's new single is the theme song for a national park experience film called "Love in the Tetons."

The lyrics tell the story of a couple who got married inside the national park in Wyoming.

“As soon as I heard the story about the couple, Juan and Vanessa, that got married in the Tetons I kind of took that story and put my own spin on it, and wrote a story about it,” Parks said.

Within 24 hours of its release, the single shot into the top 40 on iTunes’ songwriter category.

From its release date till the end of February, all of the money made will be donated to the National Parks Conservation Association.
