PROVO, Utah – Provo residents now have a one-stop shop for reporting issues like pot holes or broken streetlights or even for paying utility bills thanks to a new hotline.
A call center established in Provo provides customer service for the city, and it handles about 500 calls each day.
Residents need only dial 311 to be connected.
Karen Larsen is the division director of customer service at the center, and she said people like having the call center as a resource.
"They could not believe that they could come right here at one location or one call and report a neighbor's dog barking or the street light out down the street or the pothole that needs to be repaired as well as pay their utility payments,” she said.
