SALT LAKE CITY – Police have released images of a suspect in an alleged break-in that took place at a home near Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Police said that on December 27 a man entered a home and pointed a gun at two girls before robbing the home and leaving in a black, two-door Honda.

Detective Jared Richardson of the Unified Police Department described the alleged crime.

“He held them at gunpoint, took some items from them as well, and then got into his own personal vehicle, which he had parked in the garage, and fled the scene,” he said.

The suspect is pictured in the video above, and he is described by police officials as a man who stands about 5-feet 8-inches tall and who weighs about 150 pounds. The man has brown hair and is believed to be in his ‘20s or early ‘30s.
