SALT LAKE CITY — Vehicles have been sliding off the roads since snow started to fly at about 11 p.m. , officials said early Saturday morning.

Utah Highway Patrol responded to at least 40 slide-off crashes on Interstate Highway 15 since midnight in the Salt Lake Valley, said Joe Dougherty, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety.

Dougherty said there hasn’t been much of a problem in Utah County.

There have been no serious injuries in the accidents.
