Suspects ID’d in Weber County armed robberies

WEBER COUNTY — Robbery suspects in Weber County have been identified as residents of Kearns, officials said Tuesday afternoon.

Cherokee Aiko, 18, Ronny Juarez, 21, Jason Juarez, 18, and one male juvenile were arrested in connection with armed robberies in three different cities in Weber County.

At approximately 3:07 a.m. police responded to a Maverick, 400 N. 2000 West in Marriott-Slaterville City where it was reportedly robbed by three individuals armed with handguns and a knife.

The method of robbery and description of suspects matched robberies that took place in Plain City and Farr West on Dec. 19, according to a press release from Weber County Sheriff’s Office.

An attempt to locate was broadcast for the suspects in Weber, Davis and Salt Lake Counties. The suspects’ vehicle was seen on Interstate Highway 15 traveling south when it was stopped by Kaysville Police, the release stated.

Three men and one male juvenile were inside the car.

Detectives arrived at the scene and arrested the four suspects on armed robbery charges, the release stated.

Aiko, Juarez and Juarez were booked into Weber County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.

Bail has been set at $60,000 for each suspect.

The juvenile also remains in custody.
