OGDEN, Utah – An Ogden family will be moving into a new home built for them with the help of Habitat for Humanity, and they expect to be in the home before Christmas.
Matt Wiseman said they plan to be in by December 24, and he said they helped Habitat for Humanity build the home.
“When they said they were going to build a house for us, I made sure our family was going to be involved 100 percent,” he said. "It's more important to us, we helped build it. You know, you can call it home better. We helped build this."
The family has already started the moving in process, and they put a Christmas tree up in the home and covered it with pictures of the project and the people who helped make it a reality.
This is the 10th home built in the area of Weber and Davis counties by Habitat for Humanity.
