DRAPER, Utah – The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is scheduled to open in Draper next month, and on Tuesday crews worked to install the final shipment of exotic plants in the South America exhibit.

The new facility will house about 500 different living plants, and the centerpiece is a 40-foot Queen Palm.

The Journey to South America Exhibit has a climate to match its name, as temperatures fluctuate between 77 and 80 degrees and the exhibit has 50 percent humidity

In addition to exhibits that will offer visitors sights and sounds from around the world, the aquarium will have a 300,000 gallon shark tank.
