SALT LAKE CITY – Emergency personnel responded to a two-alarm fire in Salt Lake City Saturday afternoon.

According to fire department officials, the Salt Lake City Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 970 South and 300 West at about 4:13 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they saw flames at the back of the building. As the crews worked to put out the blaze, high winds began pushing the fire into an adjacent building. At that time, a second alarm was requested.

A total of 31 personnel responded to the scene, and the fire was under control in under 15 minutes, according to officials.

There were no injuries reported, and investigators are beginning to look into the cause of the fire.
