Suspect in string of Tooele County burglaries charged

TOOELE, Utah – A man has been charged in connection with several home burglaries that took place in four Tooele communities last month.

Police said 31-year-old Riley Snyder of Neola faces theft and burglary charges, and police said they suspect Snyder was part of a group that allegedly burglarized 10 homes in Erda, Lake Point and Stansbury Park.

Police said they also suspect Snyder was involved in two burglaries at businesses in North Layton that occurred during the same time period.

Snyder will be in court on Jan. 27.
