SALT LAKE CITY – Nine subpoenas were issued Friday in relation to the investigation into allegations against Utah Attorney General John Swallow.

Seven of the nine subpoenas were delivered to Jason Powers and various organizations registered to him—Powers was a campaign consultant for Swallow.

The State Travel Office received a subpoena regarding Swallow’s travel records. Another subpoena was issued to the Attorney General’s Office, and it requested information regarding several individuals, including convicted felon Marc Jenson—who hosted Swallow in California. The same subpoena requested details about Swallow’s communication with the state technology office.

Swallow has come under fire recently after it was revealed information had gone missing at his office.
