This week has been a bad week as far as not being able to work out due to injury, and I have been upset about it. I have a bone spur that started acting up, and I wanted to numb the pain.
So I did what I thought was the logical thing to do. I tried to ice it down, but it did not work very well. So I then used a can of compressed air as a cold spray to ice and kill the pain. I ended up with a second-degree burn on my ankle and heel.
I am now out of commission for three weeks. I was still able to push through the pain and go to a Halloween party and see Odyssey Dance Theatre’s Thriller, so there have been a few bright spots.
Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. I can’t wait to get back to working out once this ankle heals up.
