Teen girl killed in rollover accident

WASHINGTON CITY, Utah – A teenage girl was killed in a vehicle accident in southern Utah Thursday afternoon.

Public Information Officer Ed Kantor of the Washington City Police Department said there was single vehicle rollover accident at about 1:30 p.m. near 1700 E. Telegraph St.

Kantor said the car rolled off the road and plunged into the bottom of a ravine. A 16-year-old female was killed. There were no other injuries reported.

Specific details regarding the accident were not immediately available, and police officials said the accident is still under investigation. FOX 13 News will have more information as it becomes available.
