CEDAR CITY, Utah – Two Cedar City men have been arrested after police said they allegedly took and then castrated another man’s horses.

An arrest warrant indicates the horses were taken from a pen in Beryl, and the animals were later found in a corral in Enoch.

The incident happened at the end of April, and the owner of the horses said at least four of the animals were castrated.

Marvin Jay Hunt and Colby Elias Hunt have been charged with one count of wanton destruction of livestock, which is a second-degree felony.

Colby Hunt also faces a charge of tampering with a witness.
