LEHI, Utah – The second annual Utah Valley Renaissance Faire is scheduled for this weekend, which means it’s time for noble folk and common rabble to mingle and make mirth aplenty.

Thanksgiving Point will come alive with chivalrous knights who duel with swords and world champion jousters.

The event will also feature live music and a royal banquet. Richard Thurman, executive director of the Utah Valley Renaissance Faire, said local talent will be featured.

“The world champion jouster lives in Eagle Mountain, which is right up the street from here,” he said. “So we have lots of good folks that don’t get as much of a chance to display their wonderful talents. So this gives them an opportunity to do that.”

The event will have villages with artisans from areas that influenced the Renaissance. For more information about the event, visit their website.
