NEW YORK — A reporter for the New York Post has revealed she’s the woman behind the “300 Sandwiches” blog.
Stephanie Smith says she’s “124 sandwiches away from an engagement ring.”
Smith told the Post that her boyfriend used to ask her every morning “you haven’t made me a sandwich, yet?”
One day she gave in… and that led to her blog about making him sandwiches. Her blog’s mission statement is “My boyfriend E is obsessed with two things: Star Wars and sandwiches. During a Sunday lunchtime viewing of “Return of the Jedi” he told me: “you are 300 sandwiches away from an engagement ring!” … And so, I got cooking …”
