RIVERTON -- It was a homecoming game to remember at Riverton High School Friday night.

Students surprised two of their special needs classmates by voting them Homecoming King and Queen.

Caity Morgan and Aiden Williams had no idea their classmates voted them for the coveted titles and were all smiles when they were crowned.

Morgan is a cheerleader for the high school football team.

"Thank you, all of you. I really thank you and appreciate you,” Morgan said.

Williams is a senior and a manger for the football team with his own jersey and helmet.

“It’s crazy the student body just wrapped their arms around these students and it's not just the last five days of homecoming; this is just Riverton they are sincere friends," said Diane Williams who is Aiden's mom.

Students say their school motto is "We are One" and that's what this exemplifies.
