Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keeton threw a pair of touchdown passes, but the USC defense shut down the Aggies in the fourth quarter to pull out a 17-14 win in Los Angeles.

Keeton completed 21 of his 39 passes for a season low 179 yards passing, but his second touchdown pass of the game to Travis Reynolds tied the game at 14-14 in the 3rd quarter. Keeton also threw a touchdown pass to Brandon Swindall in the second quarter that tied the game at 7-7.

Joey DeMartino set up that first score with a 55 yard run. He finished with nine carries for 72 yards.

It another close lose for the Aggies in a big game. Utah State is 18-5 over their last 23 game and five of those losses are by a combined 13 points.  The Aggies fall to 2-2 this season.
