SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Football team opened fall camp with heavy hearts Monday, practicing for the first time since the death of teammate Gaius “Keio” Vaenuku.

The Utes will put a sticker on their helmets to honor Vaenuku this season.

Salesi Uhatafe was the other Utah player in the car crash in New Mexico. He survived along with his father. But his brother and stepbrother died.

Uhatafe is scheduled to be with the team next week.
