SALT LAKE CITY -- A hand grenade was found in a carry-on bag at the Salt Lake International Airport Saturday.

Agents said it was old and rusty and probably wouldn’t do anything.

They’re not allowed on planes, no matter what condition they’re in, officials said.

The passenger was traveling to Denver, Colo.
