SLC police ask for public’s help in locating forgery suspect

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man with outstanding warrants, according to a statement released Friday.

Officers said they are searching for 43-year-old David Vincent Clayden, who is wanted on several charges including forgery, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers described Clayden as a white male standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 250 pounds. He has a shaved head with a strawberry blond goatee and hazel eyes. Officers said he was last seen in the Salt Lake City area.

Officers said if you see the suspect, do not make contact with him. If you do have any information on Clayden, or if you see him, call police at (801) 799-3000 or text the keyword TIPSLCPD plus information to 274-637.
