UTAH – The Utah Transit Authority will begin offering free extended parking beginning July 1st.

The free parking will be a part of a one year pilot program.

UTA passengers can park their cars free of charge for an unlimited amount of time in most of the TRAX and FrontRunner lots.

The program eliminates the current parking fee requirement at the Draper and Jordan Valley stations.

In addition, this program will make it easier for people to park cars and connect to the Salt Lake International Airport for trips out of town.
