2 in critical condition after wreck on Bangerter Highway

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Two men are in the hospital in critical condition after a car wreck on Bangerter Highway Sunday evening.

Sgt. Trudy Cropper of the West Valley City Police Department said a red minivan traveling southbound on 4000 West ran a red light and hit a truck that was traveling eastbound on the State Route 201 frontage road. The accident happened around 7:25 p.m.

Each vehicle had a single occupant. Both males were transported to a hospital in critical condition. We will have more information as it becomes available.
