Mississippi Governor: Troubles began when ‘mom got in the workplace’

During a Washington Post Live interview, Mississippi’s Governor, Phil Bryant (R), responded to a question about why America is so “mediocre” by saying “I think both parents started working. The mom got in the work place.” He quickly followed with a longer explanation, and said he knew his comment would cause him to get a lot of e-mails.
