TOOELE COUNTY, Utah – Tooele County has confirmed that investigators are looking into alleged wrongdoings within the Sheriff’s Office.

County spokesman Wade Matthews says the investigation involves one or possibly more individuals within the department, but not the Sheriff’s Office itself.

The investigation is being conducted by individuals outside of the county, but the exact nature of the investigation is unknown.

Matthews says he doesn’t know how long the investigation will take.

Tooele County Sheriff Frank Park told FOX 13 that the county attorney has advised him not to discuss the case.
