SALT LAKE CITY – When Steven Powell is released from a Washington prison, he won’t be able to return to his Puyallup home.
Powell, 62, is serving a prison sentence after being convicted of voyeurism in May 2012.
He was eligible for early release on Thursday, but under Washington law, he must first submit an offender release plan and have it approved by the corrections department.
The plan must include where he plans to live and work. Powell has submitted a plan, but it won’t be approved until he finds a new place to live.
