UPDATE: The Powerball numbers have been announced: 2 11 26 34 41 Powerball 32.

SALT LAKE CITY - A $360 million prize for the winner of the multi-state Powerball lottery has Utahns heading up to the Idaho border for tickets.

At $2 apiece, Utahns are making the trip to Idaho in hopes of winning the jackpot.

"I have a funny feeling with my green purse and my jade bracelet that it may not hit me this time, but I'm kind of feeling like I'm going to," said Ogden resident Patti Simons.

For the small town of Malad, just 15 minutes from the Utah-Idaho border, the Powerball is big business. The two convenience stores in Malad are at the top for lottery ticket sales in Idaho, and they have Utahns to thank for that.

"I would bet a good 85 to 90 percent of our business is from Utah," said Geoff Green at KJs Phillips 66.

At KJs Phillips 66, they've recently remodeled with the Powerball visitors in mind.

"We have a whole big table where you can stand and scratch tickets, or we have seating for about 40 people to sit down and scratch their tickets or fill out their power ball," Green said.
