SALT LAKE CITY – Changes could be coming to downtown Salt Lake City, and the city is asking residents to weigh in on what it could look like.

Voting for the SixtyNine Seventy Project opened on Monday and lasts through the end of this month.

The contest has more than 200 designers from all over vying to redesign the block between 100 South to 200 South and West Temple to State Street.

With a new $116 million performing arts center being built in the area, the city hopes a redesign will help improve the atmosphere and help people get from one attraction to another.
