COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah — Charges have been filed against a driver after a 75-year-old woman was killed when she was hit by his car early this month.
Dan Eining, 59, faces one count of negligent homicide in connection with the woman’s death. The accident happened at 3646 East and 8200 South on April 9. Police said Eining was backing out of his driveway and didn’t see Sharalyne Quinney walking by.
Quinney was knocked to the ground and suffered severe head injuries. She died the following day.
