DRAPER, Utah - eBay showed off its new building in Draper today.

They say they built it with sustainability in mind, and their long term plan is to stay in Utah and create more jobs. eBay has been in Utah for over 13 years. About 1800 employees are working at the new facility.

"We're moving from a very old campus with five buildings, into one with everyone sitting together," said Scott Murray, the eBay VP of Global Service.

The new 240,000 square foot facility uses 30 percent less energy, and 25 percent less water. Because of that, they earned a Gold LEED Certification.

eBay also encourages employees to use the gym, bike to work or take FrontRunner. eBay says they plan to hire 1400 more employees over the next 20 years.

The president and CEO of eB John Donahoe said, "We're investing in Utah because of the great workforce and wonderful state, and local officials who make doing business a real pleasure in Utah."
