CEDAR CITY, Utah — A Southern Utah University rugby player has been arrested and charged after he was accused of raping a woman near the school’s campus in Cedar City.

Aaron Jeffrey Price, 19, was in court this week after being charged with first-degree felony rape. According to court documents, Price carried a woman to a bedroom and had sex with her against her will on Tuesday night, and the victim’s injuries are consistent with her account of the event.

Price was arrested by Cedar City Police on Wednesday evening, and he was released after he posted a $50,000 bail.
