OGDEN, Utah – The Weber School District is raising money to buy 1,000 digital security cameras for 45 of its schools.

The technology will link feeds to the Ogden Police Department’s real-time crime center so in the case of an armed invasion, police could use the cameras to figure out how to proceed.

The camera system would cost around $550,000.
