LAS VEGAS — The Utah Utes defeated USC in round one of the Pac-12 Tournament held in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The Utes now have their first-ever Pac-12 tournament game victory, which came with a final score of 69-66.

Utes forward Jarred DuBois shared some of his thoughts on the win.

“From the start to finish I think our guards did a very good job of following the scouting report—we knew it was important to rebound, and I think we did that,” he said.

The Utes will play #2 seed California in the quarter finals on Thursday.
