Mississippi man’s obituary goes viral

A Mississippi man’s obituary has gone viral online. According to the Sun Herald, the “best obit ever” was written by Amanda Lewis, the daughter of the deceased man, Harry Stamps.

Her father’s obituary starts out with by saying “Harry Weathersby Stamps, ladies’ man, foodie, natty dresser, and accomplished traveler, died on Saturday, March 9, 2013.”

The cleverly written obituary includes his love buttermilk served in martini glasses garnished with cornbread, his bacon-of-the-month subscription, and his hatred for Daylight Saving Time and Martha Stewart.

In order to honor Harry, it urges people to write their Congressman to asked for the repeal of Daylight Saving Time.
