MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota — Josh Powell’s brother Michael jumped off a five story structure in Minnesota in an apparent suicide, according to Q13 FOX News in Seattle.

Q13 said the information was confirmed by Ed Troyer, a deputy with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.

The Minneapolis Police Department confirmed with FOX 13 News that an individual committed suicide by jumping off a parking structure Monday, and the Minneapolis Medical Examiner’s Office said an individual named Michael C. Powell died there on Monday.

Michael was the brother of Josh Powell, who was the sole person of interest in the December 2009 disappearance of his wife, Susan Cox Powell.

Josh Powell killed his two young sons, Charlie and Braden, then killed himself in a fire at a house in Graham, Washington in early February 2012.
