KANARRAVILLE, Iron County, Utah – Police in Iron County are looking for the suspect in an alleged aggravated robbery and assault.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release on Friday that at around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, a woman was showing a man building lot in the Harmon Heights subdivision of Kanarraville when the man suddenly attacked her. Police say the man produced a weapon during the attack.

The woman was reportedly able to break free from the suspect and run to a house about half a mile away for help.

Police say the motive of the attack at this time appears to be robbery and sexual assault. Investigators are following up on several leads in the case and are asking for help from the public in locating the man.

He is described as a white man in his mid-30s, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds with a muscular, stocky build. He has short brown hair and blue eyes, a square jaw and a deep voice.

The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a light gray v-neck shirt with thin black stripes, a thin windbreaker-type jacket and think cotton or knit gloves.

His vehicle is described as a 2010 white Subaru Outback with California license plates. It has front-end damage with orange paint transfer on the front of the vehicle. There are black rocker panels below the doors, a black luggage rack and tinted rear windows.
