WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Police say a man walked a quarter mile to a bar after being shot in the ankle.
West Valley City police say that around 1 a.m., a man showed up at the ‘Bout Time Pub and Grill near 3318 South Decker Lake Drive.
Officers followed the trail of his blood to an apartment where there was still a party underway. They say he got into a fight during a scuffle with another person at the party and was hit in the head and shot in the ankle.
The man was transported to Intermountain Medical Center and is expected to survive.
Police are still investigating but think the incident could be drug-related.
