OGDEN, Utah – A shed in Ogden went up in flames on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. at the home at 464 Kiesel Ave.

A man who was living in the shed was able to escape and help his father and two dogs out from a nearby home.

“He discovered the crackling sound and then he seen the fire and called 911 and by the time they got here it was just blazing just up in the air, clear up in the sky,” said neighbor Claudette Chesmut.

No one was hurt and damage is estimated at $18,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
