Credit union in West Valley City robbed

A Utah Central Credit Union branch in West Valley City was robbed Thursday afternoon.

The robbery happened at 4090 S 4800 W at about 12:40 p.m. Two armed men entered the credit union, demanded money and fled the scene. Their getaway car was found about a mile away.

The FBI is investigating the bank robbery incident and they are expected to release a statement Thursday.
