RIVERTON, Utah – Riverton High wrapped up its month-long Silver Rush charity campaign on Friday.

The school picks a different charity every year for their annual fundraiser. This year, they chose the Haley Bell Blessed Chair Foundation, started by country singer Colin Raye. It provides wheelchairs to special needs students.

“They do an amazing job of going through all those applications to where they narrow it down to three. Then there’s a lot of discussions and they present their proposals to me and to the other officers because this is very much student driven,” said Brad Sorensen.

Students held an assembly to celebrate their success. They raised more than $125,000.
