SALT LAKE CITY - Snow is falling all across Utah this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued winter weather warnings for most of northern and southern Utah for Saturday and Sunday.

Utah's ski resorts are also seeing some fresh powder. Snowbird, Alta and Brighton have all received nearly 10 inches of new snow within the past 24 hours.

Saturday, snow showers will taper off before noon, but redevelop in the evening in the Salt Lake City area.

In southern Utah, heavy snow will fall in the mountains, but mostly rain in the valleys.
