One man's journey to find a cure for a genetic disease brings him to Utah.

Tommy Danger, as the man identifies himself, is on a mission to help raise awareness about cystic fibrosis. Danger is running across the country to do it.

Along the way, he is stopping at schools to talk to kids about his trek. Danger started the More Than Just Miles campaign about eighteen months ago, but began running in September.

He started his trek in Seattle and plans to make it to his final destination in Florida in April.

"[I run] 18 miles a day now,  probably gonna be bumping that up to 21 miles a day and we'll just keep cranking that out and on the very last day we're just going to run 100 straight miles all the way to Daytona Beach, Florida," Danger said.

The longest stretch Danger has ever run is 23 miles, but he said it's a mental game and he thinks he can do it.

Danger is not along on his runs. There is a support vehicle, driver and about 3,000 people followinghis journey on Facebook.
