WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – West Valley City police arrested a man they say fired multiple shots outside a restaurant.

Officers say Edgar Flores got into a fight with another man inside a restaurant near 3500 South and 3100 West on Saturday. The Salt Lake County Jail report says Flores fired a gun at least six times at a car with three people inside.

No one in the car was injured but police say a stay bullet was shot toward a residence, nearly hitting an infant.

Officers arrested Flores Sunday on multiple charges, including attempted murder, illegally discharging a firearm and criminal mischief.
