Man allegedly tried to recycle stolen steel poles

PROVO, Utah — A 46-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stealing steel poles and trying to sell them.

Provo Police said Darn Rosenfeld took two 20-foot, 200-pound steel poles from the parking lot at Bill Harris Music near 300 South and University Avenue.12-05-steel-poles

Police shared video of what they say is Rosenfeld’s car with the poles sticking out the back.

He is accused of trying to recycle them at Western Metals.

Rosenfeld was issued a citation for theft, driving on a suspended license and failure to flag an extended load.
