BOUNTIFUL, Utah – A Bountiful car dealership had several cars vandalized on Thanksgiving and now Centerville police say they may have the suspect.

Specialties Auto in Bountiful says that someone vandalized several of their high-end vehicles at around 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving. The suspect is seen kicking in car doors on a Maserati, Mustang, Subaru STI and a Mercedes.

“It’s just senseless. It doesn’t make sense why one person would do it,” said JB Lawrence, inventory manager at Specialties Auto. “We did what we could in the first place. We have surveillance and our place is really well lit, but unfortunate things happen sometimes that you can’t control.”

Police say the suspect also did damage at Legacy Crossing Apartments in Centerville.

The investigation is ongoing, but police say they’ve been talking with someone about the incident. No arrests have been made.
