Suspect sought in Riverton credit union robbery

RIVERTON, Utah — Police are looking for a male suspect accused of robbing the Cyprus Credit Union in Riverton Friday afternoon.

Unified Police say the suspect entered the branch located at 13717 S. Redwood Road at about 4:50 p.m. They say he handed a note to the teller demanding money.

Police say the suspect left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a man in his 20s, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, a blue bandana on his neck, and wearing gloves. They say he was driving a blue mid-2000s Ford Taurus sedan.
