Man wearing Lakers jersey pepper sprays Jazz game attendee

An argument during the Utah Jazz / Los Angeles Lakers game Wednesday night resulted in a pepper spraying incident outside EnergySolutions Arena.

Salt Lake police say the suspect, who was wearing a Lakers jersey, and another person were arguing throughout the game. The suspect was escorted outside the building by ESA security.

After the game, the victim was standing on the corner of 100 S 400 W when the suspect drove by. The suspect pepper sprayed the victim and kept driving.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with medium length brown hair. He was driving a silver Dodge Caliber.
