ST. GEORGE — The cupboards are literally bare at southern Utah’s Dixie Care & Share.

The food pantry for people in need put out an emergency plea for help late Friday, saying that it had run out of essential food, toiletries and baby supplies with demand still high.

Pantry workers said donations can be accepted 24 hours a day at 131 N. 300 W. in St. George.
