HILL AIR FORCE BASE - Rainy weather postponed the Warriors Over the Wasatch airshow presented by Hill Air Force Base, but Utahns still got to experience a little of what the Air National Guard does for their community and for the nation.

Participants in the Rise to the Challenge tour got an opportunity to take a medical challege, a reconnaissance challenge and a refueling challenge, plus games and a video booth where personalized messages can be sent to the men and women serving our country overseas.

"I think it shows appreciation to the troops and they will know that they are appreciated," said Daisha Huling, Rise to the Challenge spokesperson.

Guard recruiters use the interactive display as a recruiting method.

"To know that the Air Guard is here and what opportunities that we have for them; some of the training we can offer them," said Seth Mayer, a recruiter for the Utah Air National Guard.

The Warriors Over the Wasatch airshow continues Sunday.
